What
We're Looking For:
Self Motivated Individuals who can perform diagnostic and repair procedures
with any of the following: gas or diesel engines, automatic or manual
transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and
etc., followed by providing labor time estimates and explaining cause and
repair to the advisor. As a Manistee Ford Technician, you'll find the
opportunities, resources, and support you need to grow and develop professionally
as a Ford Certified Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched.
- Performing diagnostic services to determine repair needs.
- Providing labor time, and parts estimates for repair services.
- Perform work assigned within a reasonable time and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Maintaining organized, clean workspace, and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.
- Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
- Willingness to learn and continue your education
Specific Requirements:
- Ford experienced highly considered
- Ford certifications
- State of Michigan Automotive Certifications.
- Great mechanical, electrical skills, and computing skills
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
